The South Sudan Medical Journal is an Open Access Journal. All its content is freely available to all, without subscription or any other charges, following the Budapest Open Access Initiative (BOAI) principles. Users of the SSMJ content can read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full text of these articles, or use them for any other lawful, non-commercial purposes, without asking prior permission from the publisher or the author.

SSMJ does not charge article processing or submission fees.
